TTArtisan 50mm f/1.4 Tilt for Canon RF Full Frame

A view of the magical Lilliput

With a tilt lens, the real world is transformed into an attractive miniature landscape, so that it looks as if you are entering the island of Lilliput from Gulliver's Travels.

What is "tilt?"
With a normal lens, the focus area is always parallel to the sensor plane. For example, if you want to take a sharp photo of everything at a distance of 5 meters, this area is focused on and then stopped down until the depth of field is right.
With a tilt lens (tilt = tilt or pan), you can also focus on just a single strip in the image, while the rest of the image remains blurred. The optical axis is simply bent. This allows the focus plane to be positioned freely. For example, the following motif can be realized with the tilt function even with an open aperture: A house facade that runs diagonally in the image and is still sharply depicted from front to back.

Two lenses for the price of one!
With a tilt angle of 0 degrees, this is a conventional 50 mm lens, for example for portraits. The optical performance is also used optimally. In the "normal" state, only the middle part of the large image circle is used. Using the tilt function, there are no limits to your own creativity when designing images. You can work with sharpness and blur in a targeted manner.

Video clips from the Lilliput perspective are also unique. The stepless aperture ring with additional gear ring makes professional video work very convenient.

The large aperture of f/1.4 allows a low ISO value even in low light. The soft bokeh, together with the tilt function, creates the unmistakable miniature effect.

The tilt mechanism (8 degrees) works to the left and right. The angle of this "swivel plane" can be rotated from 0 to 90 degrees (a mark is drawn every 15 degrees). Tilt and rotation functions can be locked with a separate screw.

The TTArtisan 50 mm f/1.4 Tilt has an optical design of 7 elements in 6 groups. These include 2 elements with a high refractive index.

Focusing and aperture adjustment are manual.
