AstrHori 28mm f/13 2X Macro 2-pack for Canon EF
The special 2x macro lens of the AstrHori 28mm f/13 2X Macro offers shooting perspectives that are not possible with normal macro lenses.
The 0° lens tube enables unique and very convenient "slide-in" shots in places where conventional lenses fail. With a maximum display of 2:1, the subject is magnified 2x and the 28mm wide angle gives an angle of view of 75 degrees and the large aperture range gives a greater depth of field. The resulting effect is most similar to the perspective of insects. The 90° tube has the same properties, but looks 90 degrees around the corner, thus expanding the creative possibilities.
The following should be noted with the 90° tube: Once attached, it cannot be rotated. However, it can be inserted into the base tube in 4 positions, each offset by 90 degrees. The shot with this tube is mirror-inverted and must later be mirrored using software. Additional accessories can be installed on the hole at the top of this tube.
Thanks to the integrated LED light on the respective front, illuminating close-up areas is very easy. A dimmable USB cable is included in the delivery for connection to a power bank or a USB power supply.
Videographers will appreciate the module 0.8 gears, which can be used to adjust both the distance and aperture rings using cine focusing devices.
The first 28cm of both probes of the full-frame lens are waterproof, so you can comfortably photograph and film directly under the water surface, in other liquids or in dusty environments. The front lens is protected by scratch-resistant sapphire glass.
Attention: No moisture must penetrate the USB socket!
The focus and aperture are adjusted manually. For transport and storage, the respective front tube can be easily removed and stowed in the included case.
