Beetle Diffuser Lite

Soft light is very important when shooting macro subjects as it shows great detail, reduces harshness and also makes the image pleasant looking. Also the light coverage over the subject is very important.

The diffuser works great for insects, frogs, small snakes like pit vipers and anything similarly sized. The closer you are to the subject, the better the diffusion.

Available in 2 Sizes

Regular: includes 62mm and 67mm rings
Mini: includes 46mm and 58mm rings

Ideal for compact macro lenses such as the Olympus 60mm or lenses with similar dimensions.

Assembly Instructions

• Set the flash zoom to its widest setting
• Always use the flash’s built-in wide angle diffuser

White Balance

To achieve accurate colours while using the diffuser, set your camera white balance to custom/Kelvin mode.

Try values between 3800 K and 4500 K. Photograph a small colourful subject while adjusting the setting until you find the perfect balance.

Once you have found the ideal value, you can continue using the same setting whenever you use the diffuser.
