M58x0.75 male to RMS female thread adapter (58mm to RMS step-down ring)

• Front side - RMS (0.8″-36tpi) female thread and M58x0.75 female thread
• Rear side - M58x0.75 male thread

This adapter allows using RMS microscope objectives in front of lenses with M58x0.75 filter thread (for macrophotography purposes).

Front M58x0.75 female thread repeats a lens filter thread, so you can use other accessories along with the objective.

Made of high quality aluminium alloy.

Test picture was made with LOMO Plan 9x objective. Part of dime coin is pictured. First sample picture is original image scaled to 1000px width. Second sample picture is 100% crop from the original. Third picture is laser printed digit (12 pt size).

All pictures are quick shots with handheld camera, so focus isn't perfect. With some patience and camera support, you'll get better results, of course. The pictures just show that this adapter is usable for microphotography.

One of my customers (Tilmann Ditting) sent me a picture and following message that may be useful to others:

The adapter works perfect. I use it together with a step-up ring 58 to 77mm. In this way I can combine my Mamiya APO 210 lens (as "tubus lens"; attached to a Mamiya RB67 with Sinar 54M digital back) with a set of Nikon CF Plan EPI ELWD (10x, 20x 50x, corrected for infinity.

Up to now I just die some testing of butterfly wings, but I did not do any focus stacking. Nevertheless, I attached you one JPEG test shot with a very DOF (no stacking) which is just a converted RAW with no further things done on it, which was taken with the CF Plan 50x in the above combination. It will still be a lot of work but even those test shot seem promising.
